Description
A metal-backed strip brush filled with very fine 0.1 mm brass wire, giving a soft, non-sparking action for cleaning and light finishing. It is used on metal, wood and plastic surfaces, for removing burrs and old paint, and in electronics and precision-part maintenance. Overall height is 60 mm on a 7 x 7 mm steel strip; length and other dimensions are produced to customer specification.
Brass is softer than the steel it typically touches, so a brass strip cleans oxide, dust and light burrs without cutting into machined surfaces. The fine 0.1 mm wire with a long free length gives a flexible, almost wiping action, well suited to delicate parts and electronics fixtures. Choose steel or stainless fill instead where heavy scale or welding spatter must be removed.
For a quote, state the length you need (or the machine slot length), overall height, wire diameter and whether the strip will be used straight, bolted in a holder or wound into a roller. Quantity and any required end caps or mounting holes should also be included.
