Who we are

BrushSourcing (brushsourcing.com) is operated by Meow77 LLC. We connect business buyers with brush manufacturers in the Yuantan / Qianshan cluster in Anhui, China.

What we collect and why

• Quote requests (RFQ form): your name, email, company, country, phone number, quantity, your requirement text and any files you upload (drawings, photos, PDFs). We use them only to understand your requirement, match a factory and send you a quotation.
• Website chat: the messages you type are sent to an AI service to generate the reply. The chat is not saved on our servers. Please do not enter sensitive personal data in the chat.
• WhatsApp button: when you click it, we record which page you clicked from and your approximate location (city / country, derived from your IP address) so we know which pages bring enquiries. The conversation itself happens in WhatsApp.
• Sample fee payments: payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout page. We receive your email, the amount and the payment status — never your card details.
• Site analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
• Language preference: your chosen site language is stored in your own browser (local storage) so the site remembers it. It is not sent to us.

Legal basis (for visitors in the EU / UK)

We process quote-request and payment data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Click statistics, analytics and security logs are based on our legitimate interest in running and improving a B2B website (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Who processes the data for us

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the site and answer you:

• Vercel — website hosting, file storage for RFQ attachments (private, not publicly accessible) and cookie-free analytics.
• Neon — database where quote requests and sample payments are stored.
• Telegram — instant notification of new quote requests and WhatsApp clicks to our sales team.
• Google (Gemini API) — generates the website chat replies.
• Stripe — sample fee payments.
• Zoho and Brevo — our business email, used when we reply to you.
• Partner factories — when you request a quotation, we share the technical requirement and drawings with the factory that will quote. We share your contact details with a factory only when needed to fulfil your order.

Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep quote-request and order data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and to meet accounting and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, unless we must keep it by law.

Cookies

The public website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. The only cookie is a login cookie for our own administrators.

Marketing emails

We do not add you to a newsletter or marketing list because you sent a quote request. If we ever send marketing emails, they will only go to people who agreed to receive them and will always include an unsubscribe link.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Email sales@brushsourcing.com and we will reply within one month. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
