Variants and what to check

The T3 shares its 3-lug 17 in and 20 in disk brushes with the T300 single-disk decks. Aftermarket listings name the T3 and T3+ against those numbers, and the superseded 40xxxxx numbers match Tennant's current T300 sheet. Check the deck size (17 or 20 in) printed on the machine, and confirm that the hub is 3-lug rather than an Insta-Click plate.

What to send us for a quote

  • Outer diameter of the brush or pad driver, measured across the bristle tips.
  • The drive hub on top: clutch-plate type, number of lugs, or the hole pattern — a clear photo is usually enough.
  • Trim length (how far the bristles stick out of the block) and the current fill: polypropylene, nylon or abrasive grit.
  • For cylindrical decks: overall length, core diameter and the shape of the drive ends.
  • Your machine model (Tennant T3) and, if you have it, the OEM part number from the old brush.

Frequently asked questions

What size brush does a Tennant T3 take?
One disk brush: 17 in (430 mm) on the 17 in model, or 20 in on the 20 in (510 mm) models.
Do T3 brushes fit the T300?
Aftermarket listings give the same 3-lug numbers (for example 1016811, 20 in polypropylene) for the T3, T3+ and T300/T300e.
What replaced part 1016765?
Aftermarket listings show 1016765 (17 in polypropylene) superseded by 4035183, which matches Tennant's current T300 sheet for the 430 mm 3-lug polypropylene brush.
