Description
The Sisal Buffing Wheel is a wheel made from sisal fibre, used for the aggressive cut stage of metal polishing before softer cloth wheels. The stiff sisal fibre removes scratches and surface defects and levels the metal, preparing it for the finer finishing wheels that follow. The wheel is built to order, with ply and diameter made to order. Produced at our Yuantan factory cluster, the ply count, diameter, and arbor can be specified to fit your polishing setup and the cut you need before final buffing.
Sisal fibre is stiffer and more aggressive than cloth buffing wheels, which is why this wheel is used specifically for the cut stage of metal polishing — the first pass that levels scratches and surface imperfections before switching to a softer cloth wheel for the finishing/coloring stage. It's built to order rather than a single fixed size.
Diameter and ply (wheel thickness/section count) are matched to your buffing machine and the parts you're polishing — send your machine's arbor and the diameter you're currently running and we'll confirm or build to match.
