Description
The Rotary 400 mm Steel-Wire Side Gutter Broom is a disc-form gutter broom filled entirely with steel wire, for tough curb and road sweeping where PP filament wears out too quickly. The all-steel fill stands up to abrasive grit and packed debris, extending broom life in heavy-duty municipal and industrial sweeping. It has a 400 mm outer diameter and an all-steel-wire fill. Built to order at our Yuantan factory cluster, the wire gauge, fill density, and mounting can be specified to match your sweeper and the abrasiveness of the surfaces you sweep.
This is the all-steel-wire version of our 400mm disc gutter broom, for curb sweeping where polypropylene wears out too fast — gravel lots, construction-adjacent routes, and packed dirt that plain poly just can't move. Steel wire holds its sweeping edge far longer than poly under this kind of load, at the cost of being more aggressive on delicate painted surfaces.
400mm outer diameter is a common size across several sweeper brands, but bore diameter and mounting still need to be confirmed separately — matching on outer diameter alone isn't enough to guarantee fit.

- All-wire is the most aggressive, longest-wearing option for heavy debris like packed gravel or construction grit. If your surface is more delicate (painted curbs, light litter), a PP or PP+wire combination broom wears the surface less.
- Is 400mm outer diameter enough to confirm this fits my sweeper?
- No — outer diameter is the first check, but bore diameter and mounting also need to match. Send those measurements and a hub photo and we'll confirm before quoting.
- Is this made to order in other diameters?
- Yes — 400mm is our standard stock reference, but we can build to a different outer diameter or wire gauge as a custom order.
