Custom Replacement Cow Brush Head

Description

The Custom Replacement Cow Brush Head is the replaceable brush roller for rotating cow and cattle brushes, supplied on its own without motor, frame or controller. When the bristles on an existing cow brush have flattened or thinned, fitting a new head restores the brush without replacing the machine. The head is filled with UV-stabilized PP or nylon filament of about 2.0–2.5 mm, firm enough for a good scratch yet comfortable for the animal, in blue, yellow or a custom color. Outer diameter, length, core tube or shaft and the mounting hub are made to match your existing machine from a sample, drawing or measurements, and confirmed before production at our factory cluster in Yuantan.

Dairy farms, farm-equipment dealers and machine builders order these heads as wear parts. Once the cows start ignoring a worn brush, swapping in a new head brings it back into use at a fraction of the cost of a new machine — the motor, frame and controller stay in place.

Fit is confirmed before anything is made: we take the outer diameter, overall length, core tube or shaft and the mounting hub at each end from your old head, a drawing or your measurements, and send the spec back for your approval. The UV-stabilized filament is chosen for barns with daylight exposure, so the bristles don't turn brittle as quickly in open-sided sheds.

As typical guidance, a head serving a pen of around 50 cows is replaced roughly every 18–24 months, depending on herd size and use. Dealers can order mixed sizes for different machine models, custom colors, private-label packaging and repeat batches built to the same confirmed spec, and a sample can be made before the bulk order.

Frequently asked questions

Does this include the motor or the frame?

No. This is the brush head only — the replaceable brush roller. It is made to fit the drive, frame and mounting of the cow brush you already have.

What do you need from me to quote?

Photos of the old head (including both ends and the hub), outer diameter, overall length, core tube or shaft size, how it mounts to the drive, preferred filament (PP or nylon) and color, and the quantity. A drawing or a returned sample works too.

Which filament should I choose, PP or nylon?

Both are supplied UV-stabilized at about 2.0–2.5 mm. PP is the common, economical choice for cow brushes; nylon has better bend recovery and wear resistance where the brush sees heavy daily use. Tell us your herd size and we will recommend one.

Can I order heads in my own color or with my brand?

Yes. Blue and yellow are standard, and custom colors and private-label packaging are available for dealer and OEM orders.
