Description
A roller brush for fruit grading lines, with bristles anchored by stainless wire into a hard PP core so they do not shed, mounted on a rust-proof stainless shaft for wet, acidic packhouse conditions. Fill patterns include full density, spiral and chevron. If your existing shaft is in good condition, only the brush and core can be supplied to cut cost.
Fruit lines run wet with acidic juices and cleaning chemicals, so stainless anchoring and a PP core avoid the rust and tuft loss that ruin cheaper rollers. Full-density patterns give the most surface contact for cleaning and waxing, while spiral and chevron patterns also help move fruit along the bed. Match bristle stiffness to the fruit: softer for stone fruit and citrus, firmer for root crops.
For a quote, send the grader or washer model, the roller length, outer diameter, shaft diameter and end details, and the pattern you want. If you want us to refill your existing shafts, tell us the quantity and condition, and we will advise whether brush-and-core only is practical. Photos of the current roller help us match the bristle type.
